Design your test sequence: discharge / idle / charge / idle

Build the cycle your test plan calls for. Each sequence can combine three state types: discharge (with optional sub-steps for stepped or pulsed loads), idle (rest periods between phases), and charge.

For the discharge state, choose constant current, constant power, or constant resistance — and set per-step durations, cut-off voltages, and pulse-width control.

The same sequence builder handles a simple one-step capacity test and a multi-state aging protocol.

Optimizing battery life of IoT devices

Connect your batteries — one Otii Ace Pro per battery

Connect each battery to its own Otii Ace Pro and chain the units via a powered USB hub. There’s no software limit on how many you connect — your computer and hub set the practical ceiling.

Per unit you get up to 25V / 5A, with high accuracy load capability — enough for everything from coin cells to multi-cell Li-ion packs.

Whether you’re cycling 2 batteries or 20, the same sequence runs across all of them.

Run the cycles — for hours, weeks, or months

Start the run. Otii captures voltage, current, and capacity simultaneously across every connected unit, at high resolution, for as long as the test runs. The Otii application supports running multiple Otii Aces at the same time, so you see all batteries’ progress in one place.

For aging tests, set the cycle to repeat — there’s no software-imposed limit on the number of cycles. Walk away. Come back when done.
