As part of the The Things Conference 2020, Eivind Holt held a workshop on utilizing new possibilities that challenge how to build devices that can run for as long as possible without changing energy source.

This session is a walkthrough of a mailbox sensor that has lasted for over 2 years. It will cover the basic premises of power efficient microcontrollers and sensors. It will also offer practical guides on measuring current consumption and lessons learned.
