Join Qoitech at Embedded World 2019

February 12, 2019

Qoitech is pleased to announce its attendance at Embedded World Exhibition and Conference at Nuremburg, Germany on 26 – 28th February. Qoitech’s engineers will be available on the booth to explain the full benefits of energy profiling and how the Otii solution can accelerate product development in IoT devices. They will also showcase some new features, including automation for continuous integration, aimed for software developer teams that are eager to speed up the product development process and product quality, as well as new battery profiles. Anyone is welcome to stop by the booth and learn more about energy optimization.

Developers can bring their own IoT devices to measure and analyze their battery life. Qoitech asks for developers to bring IoT devices with a battery voltage between 0.5 – 5V. If developers want to sync debug logs with power consumption they need to make sure that the UART Tx is exposed as a 0.64mm square pin on their IoT device.

Otii gives customers an easy way to see what drains the battery in their products. It simplifies measurement and analysis of energy consumption, enabling energy optimization for long battery life of IoT devices and apps. Otii software runs on multiple platforms, Windows, Ubuntu and macOS. The Otii Arc is a small, portable power supply that also serves as a current and voltage measurement unit, as well as a data-acquisition module.

Says Vanja Samuelsson, founder of Qoitech, “Qoitech is delighted to be attending the world’s leading meeting place for the embedded community. We envisage great opportunities to meet with developers of IoT devices and not only share our knowledge but learn from them where they are heading and what they want to achieve. Otii gives developers the ability to check energy consumption in a ‘real world’ environment, enabling faster and more agile product development.”

Qoitech’s Otii will be demonstrated in Hall 3, booth 3-463 at Embedded World (Nuremburg, Germany on 26 – 28th February).
