Software release 1.5.2

November 29, 2017

Release 1.5.2 provides a large update to the downsample UI and several bug fixes. At the same time firmware version 1.0.6 is released, more on that at the end of the post.

No new features were introduced in this release, but we’d like to tell you about the new UI for downsampling. As you can see in the picture below, we introduced the option to only downsample certain recordings and information about what the current sample rate of the recording is.

In addition to this update to the downsampling dialog, we’ve made a number of improvements and bug fixes. Here are some of the more important ones:

  • Windows installer now offers to add Otii directory to %PATH% so you can run otiicli from command line easily.
  • Fix a crash if user tried to run a script when a script was already running in the UI.
  • Correct energy calculation for ADC channel after data was cropped.

Most of the changes in firmware are under the hood. We still recommend an update though, as you will get a better offset correction for mid range measurements (19mA – 2.7A). A problem when moving from high range to low range while sinking current was also fixed.

Questions or comments are always welcome on our Forum.

For a complete list of changes, please see our release notes.
